About Goodstart Currumbin Waters
Goodstart Currumbin Waters has been part of the local community since 1993 and during this time our centre has positively impacted on many families’ lives, some returning to the centre as families have expanded.
The centre is inviting and clean and we’ve recently had the centre painted. We’ve also introduced a sensory garden to the large open play areas, which the children love.
We pride ourselves on our long term dedicated and caring educators with the majority of them having worked at the centre longer than 5 years and two for over 20 years. Our educators are all well-qualified and several of them have special talents such as being able to speak a second language or play a musical instrument. This provides a greater number of learning experiences for the children.
There is a great atmosphere between the children, the educators and the families and over time many great friendships have been formed. We have an open communication approach and lots of ways families can get involved with the centre such as through family fun days and open days.
Our centre is located in a quiet street away from busy roads in a residential area of Currumbin Waters. So please make sure to come by and visit us at any time.

Tracey Bell Centre Director
Hi, my name is Tracey Bell and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Currumbin Waters. I have been working in the Early Education and Care sector for 14 years, starting as an assistant and working my way through to management positions. I have worked with Goodstart since 2009 and was also the Centre Director at Goodstart Norfolk Village for five years. My qualifications include a Certificate III, Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. I have two amazing adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.
My objective as Centre Director is to ensure that every child and family member is cared for in a way that makes them feel special. I encourage parent involvement through our special events, random acts of kindness for various charities, and our weekly classroom programs. I strive to create an environment that is fun, safe, stimulating and exciting; a caring atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.
I am committed to supporting, mentoring and developing my staff to ensure they have the skills, abilities and knowledge to implement high quality and individualised programs for each classroom in line with National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework. My team and I are passionate and committed to our work. One of the parts of my role that I enjoy the most is building and sustaining relationships with educators, children, families and the local community.
I look forward to meeting you, so please don't hesitate to give me a call.
