Goodstart Early Learning Hyde Park has been operating for 20 years. It is a purpose-built childcare Centre and has a very functional set up.

There are five rooms ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 6 years. The large verandah and yard have been freshly renovated allowing for all age groups to engage and interact with each other. We have a separate outdoor verandah and yard for our Nursery children to safely explore and engage with a shaded outdoor environment.

The centre is fully air-conditioned and has large windows that can be kept open to bring lots of fresh air in.

We strive to create a warm, nurturing environment that gives our children the confidence to explore their own worlds. All educators at Goodstart Early Learning Hyde Park have a qualification in Early childhood education and care ranging from a Certificate III to Bachelor degrees. Educators follow requirements to hold a Blue Card and a current First Aid Certificate.

Hi all, my name is Kelly Jackson and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Hyde Park.

With over 15 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, I have been privileged to work in a variety of roles across both centre-based and upper management levels. I hold Diplomas in Children’s Services, Business, and Leadership and Management.

I am passionate about the vital role educators play in facilitating each child’s unique learning journey within an environment rich in experiences and opportunities. At Goodstart Hyde Park, I lead a dedicated team of professionals who share a commitment to supporting families in their parenting roles. I believe that genuine collaboration between educators and families is essential to achieving the best outcomes for every child’s care and education.

My leadership philosophy focuses on mentoring, inspiring, and empowering early childhood professionals to foster growth, excellence, and a culture of continuous learning.

Outside of my professional responsibilities, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and exploring my creative interests through arts and crafts.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
