Goodstart Innisfail

Goodstart Early Learning Innisfail is located off the main highway close to the centre of town, within walking distance of two local primary schools and close to local shops.
 
Our service caters for children from 15 months to 5 years of age.
Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
 
We have many platforms to enable us to have open and clear communication. Including storypark, family Information nights and emailed newsletters. This means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have two play space areas, our yards are spacious and natural environments with sandpits, mud pits, a bike path, swings, sustainable garden areas, a worm farm, compost and vegetable patches.
 
We believe that each child is an individual and we tailor our educational program to encourage them to learn and explore. Our centre has large vegetable gardens which the children help tend.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we can enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
 
We celebrate numerous special occasions and events throughout the year, and extend an open invitation to families to come in and join the fun.
