Goodstart Labrador Olsen Avenue

We thank you all at Goodstart, for making the transition smooth and very welcoming! Each morning Irene is excited to come to daycare and we know that this is because of the friendly educators 😊

Scott is so welcoming to all families every day, he is always happy and playful, having a male role model in the classroom is so important and he has so much love and kindness.

My daughter has just graduated from Goodstart Olsen Avenue, where she's been attending since she was 10 months old. Choosing a childcare centre can be a daunting task, but I was so happy with our choice of Goodstart Olsen Ave. Something that immediately stood out to me was that a number of staff have been working at this centre for over 25 years! If that doesn't speak volumes then I don't know what does. Whilst it might not be new and shiny like some other centres, Goodstart Olsen Ave has a group of dedicated, caring, and experienced educators, which to me was the most important thing. Our daughter built great relationships with all her educators, and always enjoyed going to daycare. We are a cross-cultural family and I loved how open they were to including and celebrating our cultural holidays throughout the year. I also loved the fact that there were educators and children at this centre from a range of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. There was definitely a sense of belonging and inclusion. The centre was also regularly engaging with the wider community (something I value), either through the inclusion of visits from a First Australian educational program, partnering with a book-gifting service, or coordinating donations of Christmas presents for the local aged care facility. Lastly, I found staff incredibly accommodating at this centre, nothing was ever too much to ask. Thank you, Goodstart Olsen Ave for being our daughter's home away from home!

As a first time mum choosing a daycare felt overwhelming, we toured 3 centres, but Goodstart easily stood out because of how warm and attentive the educators were. I feel like the educators not only care about the children but also the parents. I'll never forget the time Ammy hugging me when I cried during those early drop off's or Ruth checking in on me in the carpark. These moments meant so much. I also feel the team really understand my son as his progress reports reflect exactly his characteristics he displays at home. He is often smiling outside at pick up and if not he's always in the arms of an educator. Shout out to the nursery team for making him feel safe and getting him to try new things! Ruth, Natnicha and the nursery team you are all amazing!

I feel safe to send my 2nd baby to Good Start Olsen Avenue. I feel the genuine care of the staff there to all the kids.
