About Goodstart Pacific Pines
Goodstart Pacific Pines is conveniently located across the road from the Pacific Pines Primary School and next door to Pacific Pines High school. We have a large off road car park and are on the local bus route which makes pick-up and drop-off stress-free.
Opening in November 2001, our centre was the first child care centre in Pacific Pines and we have been servicing the needs of the local community with high quality care since then. We cater for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and operate a Baby Centre (6 weeks - 2 years) and a Main Centre (2 - 5 years). We have provided care to hundreds of families, who come from a variety of cultural backgrounds in the Pacific Pines area and are able to assist families integrate into the local community.
All staff are long term employees with the average length of time here at the centre being six years. All our Educators are fully qualified holding either their Diploma or Certificate 3.
We hold regular events throughout the year that families are invited to attend. We also have an open door policy and welcome families into the centre at any time. Daily information regarding the day’s activities is available to view in each child's room and on Storypark - an online application where we share and communicate privately with the people that matter most to your child.
We offer a number of extracurricular activities such as Russian lessions (at no extra cost), Future Champs for our Kindergarten classes (Included in cost of fees), and Happy Feet. We also have animals that the children help to look after throughout the day. Our children love the wide variety of activities that are provided and families love the open and personal communication with educators.
We look forward to meeting you and your family.

Amanda Jeffery Centre Director
My name is Amanda and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Pacific Pines. I have my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood and have been in my current position since 2006.
Having children of my own has provided me with the knowledge to effectively make decisions based not only on my experience within the early childhood industry, but also from a parent’s perspective. After having gained valuable experience within the childcare industry I was inspired to take on leadership roles, as I wanted to be able to pass on this knowledge and mentor others to create a high quality learning environment for all our children.
I believe the first five years are the most important years in a child's life and to be able to have a positive impact on so many children is so rewarding. What I believe makes our centre special is the wonderful supportive environment that we give to the children and receive from our families. We live Goodstart’s values and children are truly at the centre of everything we do. This guiding principle influences every decision that is made at both centre and company level.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family to our centre in the near future!
