About Goodstart Sinnamon Park
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Sinnamon Park is conveniently located in a residential-commercial area close to shops, schools and public transport - with ample car parking facilities at the front of the building. We are open 52 weeks of the year and are only closed on major public holidays.
At our centre we strive to provide an environment where children can feel safe and secure, which will enable them to learn, play, explore and develop to their full potential. We offer our children a chance to experience activities in areas such as science, maths, computers, physical development and problem solving and responsibility is encouraged.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
At Goodstart Sinnamon Park, we value family input and involvement by inviting families to volunteer to spend time with us throughout the day, whether it be reading a story to the children or participating in centre activities.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have three spacious areas with forts, dirt pits, vege patches, cubby house, worm farm, sand pits and lots of shade.
We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
With a strong focus on connecting with our community – and utilising that connection to enrich the children’s experience - some exciting extra-curricular activities such as dance-along, soccer and tennis as well as regular visits from special guests and community members.
Our dedicated educators come from diverse backgrounds bringing with them a variety of skills, knowledge and experiences. Most of our educators have been with us for more than 4 years and come with excellent qualifications, including a Kindergarten Teacher, who is University qualified with a Bachelor of Education.
We invite you to come and visit our centre to meet our team and to see for yourself our commitment to your child’s early learning journey.
