Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Aitkenvale is in a central location, close to residential areas, schools and shops - as well as local transport routes and community facilities.
We pride ourselves on having long standing relationships with our families and our low turnover of staff. Each of our lead educators hold their Diploma qualification or higher, and our support educators hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services or are currently studying towards this qualification.

Our centre operates from 6:00am to 6:00pm and caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. We conveniently provide children with sheets, nappies and food.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. With playgrounds for each of our age groups, we have sandpits, gardens, vege patches, dry creek bed, swings, undercover areas, and a mix of manmade and natural play surfaces.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

Hello, I'm Vanessa and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Aitkenvale.
I have worked in Early Learning since 2004 and I have an Advanced Diploma of Children's Services.
Over my years of experience, I have had opportunities to educate children from 6weeks to 5 years and worked across a variety of areas in the industry to become Centre Director since 2012.
I believe it is my role to create the best possible start for Early Learning for our children. I strive to ensure that my team of Educators and myself provide the highest quality of care and incorporate our community and families into our everyday practices. I ensure that my passionate and dedicated Educators build long and lasting relationships with our families and children of Goodstart Aitkenvale.
For us it is all about making sure we look to provide a stimulating and positive learning environment.
