Community News Update - We are Closing
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for children and families, our Goodstart Brisbane – Adelaide Street centre will be closing its doors on Friday 28th of August 2026.
We’re proud of the community we’ve built at Goodstart Brisbane – Adelaide Street and our team will work closely with each family to ensure a smooth and supported transition to nearby Goodstart Centres, where they’ll be welcomed and continue to enjoy opportunities to learn, grow and build new friendships.
If you would like assistance or are seeking a place for your child at another of our Goodstart Centre’s, please register your interest today with our Family Services Team on 1800 222 543.
Originally from Shanghai, I moved to Brisbane in 2011 to study and have since completed a Bachelor of Primary Education at UQ and a Master of Teaching (Early Years/Primary) at Monash University. I’ve had the privilege of working across primary schools, kindergartens and early learning centres, and spent several years as a Kindy Teacher before stepping into leadership.
I believe every child is unique and capable. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. I also value strong partnerships with families – through collaboration, we can support each child’s development, nurture their curiosity, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
I’m proud of being a Goodstarter and the meaningful work we do to support children and families in our community.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
