A Heartfelt Farewell & Thank You

It is with heavy heart that we announce that our centre will be closing on the 20^th August 2026.

It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your little ones’ early learning journeys, watching them grow, laugh, explore, and create beautiful memories together.

From the first tiny steps to the biggest achievements, every moment has been special, and we are so grateful for the trust and support you’ve given us. Your children have filled our days with joy, wonder, and endless giggles, and for that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. While this chapter is coming to an end, we want you to know that our connection doesn’t have to. You are always welcome at our Goodstart Early Learning Centres, where the same warmth, care, and dedication await.

Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Flagstone. My name is Kathleen and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Flagstone. I have been in the Early Learning industry since 1993 and hold a Diploma in childcare and education. My time in the industry has allowed me to work across all early learning age groups.

I believe the first five years are the most important in any child’s development and I take great pleasure in helping today’s young children to develop the skills to become strong, independent leaders of our future. I believe effective communication between families and staff is vital, so I encourage the families at this centre to have a voice, share their ideas and join in the learning with their child. As a mum myself, I am passionate about a strong social and emotional development.

I look forward to meeting yourself and your child!

Structured Kindergarten Program

At Flagstone, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 6 July 2026 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
