A Heartfelt Farewell & Thank You

It is with heavy heart that we announce that our centre will be closing on the 2^nd October 2026.

It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your little ones’ early learning journeys, watching them grow, laugh, explore, and create beautiful memories together.

From the first tiny steps to the biggest achievements, every moment has been special, and we are so grateful for the trust and support you’ve given us. Your children have filled our days with joy, wonder, and endless giggles, and for that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. While this chapter is coming to an end, we want you to know that our connection doesn’t have to. You are always welcome at our Goodstart Early Learning Centres, where the same warmth, care, and dedication await.

If you need any guidance or support in transitioning, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hi, I’m Michelle (Bella) and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mount Tamborine.

I have been a part of the Goodstart Mount Tamborine team since 2024 and the Centre Director since the beginning of 2026.

I hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Mount Tamborine. I have been in the Early Childhood industry for over 10 years, working in a range of services both private and non for profit on the Gold Coast, working with children from birth to 6 years.

My Early Learning values:
I strongly believe that your child’s first experiences in early childhood education should be positive as it establishes their attitude for learning for their whole life.

What I love about our community:
The people! I love being a part of such a small tightknit community that supports the children’s wellbeing and development, celebrating everyone and their individuality.

A little more about me:
Most know me by another name… Bella! Michelle was a very common educator name when I started in Childcare and now, I just go by my family nickname. When I’m not in the centre, you’ll find me spending time with my two horses or out at Darts where I compete regularly.

At Mount Tamborine, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 6 July 2026 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
