Goodstart Nerang - Alexander Drive
Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning’s Nerang Alexander Drive Child Care Centre. At our centre, families come first – with high-quality care, a convenient location, and an open-door community approach.
We are within walking distance of two local schools, William Duncan and Worongary state schools, and we are close to the local Highland Park shops and medical centre. Our families have easy access to public transport and being straight off the M1, on exit 79, we make the pick-up and drop-offs a breeze.
The centre has five rooms, operating comprehensive curriculums for children in Nursery through to Kindergarten. Our teaching philosophy and curriculum have been developed in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
Goodstart Nerang Alexander Drive is a long-established Early Learning centre with highly qualified and experienced educators. We are passionate about social and emotional wellbeing and strive to support children in becoming strong, capable learners.
We achieve and maintain a high standard of care and professionalism with all our families and work hard in establishing and maintaining a great rapport with all our families both past and present. By building and maintaining strong relationships we are able to work collaboratively with families to ensure each child has the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life.
At Goodstart Nerang Alexander Drive, we have a great natural environment with large shady trees that provides children with a large, shaded sandpit area, cubby house fort and plenty of room to explore the great outdoors.
Our kindergarten children enjoy their own secure courtyard which allows our Early Childhood Teacher to provide the children with an inclusive indoor/outdoor curriculum every day of the week.
We have an open door policy where our families are always welcome.

Welcome, I’m Stacey Eveleigh and I’m the Centre Director at Goodstart Nerang - Alexander Drive
My Journey in the Early Childhood sector began two decades ago as a trainee educator. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across many roles and with children of all age groups, from birth to 12 years. Today, as Centre Director at Goodstart Nerang, I take my role very seriously in overseeing the educational program we provide, ensuring each child receives the highest quality care and learning opportunities.
With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, including 8 years as a Centre Director, I am incredibly passionate about supporting children and families during the most important years of their development.
My Early Learning Philosophy
I firmly believe that the early years of a child’s life are the blueprint for future success in all areas—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. I believe it truly takes a village to raise a child, and that every interaction, every relationship, and every environment plays a vital role in a child’s development. I take great pride in making sure that each child's early years are not only educational, but also full of joy, wonder, and discovery.

At Nerang - Alexander Drive, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
