About Goodstart Booval
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Booval located in a residential area close to schools, shops and community facilities.
Our vision is ‘Every day, every child at our centre is given the opportunity to be successful, with the support of positive relationships, rich educational programs and learning environments’.
Our educators pride themselves on the strong relationships we build with the children and families. We believe that parents are the child’s first teacher and we will work with families closely to ensure that we are providing the best possible care and opportunities for their children.
All of our dedicated educators are qualified and are passionate about the importance of the first five years of a childs life, and the significant impact that high quality early learning programs can have on their lives. We aim to encourage children to learn through our play based programs, providing them with the skills they need to become confident and lifelong learners.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability, with sandpits, digging pit, gardens, totem area, water tanks, undercover verandah, vege patch and worm farm.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We would love to meet you, and would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come down to our centre for a centre tour.
