About Goodstart Bray Park Kensington Way
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Bray Park - Kensington Way is located in a shopping centre close to local conveniences, making for a much easier daily drop-off and pick-up.
Our dedicated educators nurture learning and development through play based learning programs for ages 6weeks to 5 years, and we run a great Before, After and Vacation Care program for school age children from Bray Park State School, Strathpine West State School and Holy Spirit.
During the past 2 years we have received several nominations in the Australian Early Learning and Childcare Awards in the Categories of ‘Service of the Year’, ‘Educators of the Year’ and ‘Centre Director of the Year’. We are very proud and humbled by recognition our families have shown by nominating us for these prestigious Early Learning Awards.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have three outdoor areas which are all undercover, making it ideal for all weather conditions and times of the year. We have a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces and expereinces with vege patches, a mud litchen, sandpits, and a dirt patch.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
