Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre - Cochrane Street is a 60-place center, located in a residential community in Brighton. Conveniently positioned just a short walk from Brighton North train station for families who commute to work.
Our service offers 4 carefully planned for environments that are purposefully set based on extending our children’s current interests. We use the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards to guide our daily programing and practice.
We have a qualified and cheerful on-site chef who cooks using tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients to cook fresh meals daily, catering to any necessary dietary requests or requirements.
We pride ourselves on our deep, nurturing and empowering relationships with children.
The powerful theory of attachment guides our educators in building secure connections with each individual child. Partnering with our families and wider community, together our team ensure that our children’s first 5 years of education, their most important, are that of a success.

I hold a Diploma in Children services, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Brighton.
I have been in the Early Childhood sector for over 20 years. I have worked in a range of services both private and non for profit, in Australia and India. working with children from birth to 12 years.
I believe in providing safe and secure environment for children to excel to their highest potential. I believe by valuing each child’s identity, culture, individual strengths and interests, It gives children a sense of belonging, builds confidence, wellbeing and enthusiasm to engage in learning.
I strongly value partnership approach between families, educators and management as family is the first and most influential institution in the child’s journey of learning.
When I’m not in the centre, I like to spend time creating new healthy bites and spending time with my family, exploring new cafes.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
