Rea Torres Centre Director
Hi, my name is Rea Torres and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Burnside. I have been working in the Childcare Industry for 14 years and hold a Diploma of Children’s Services. My vision for Burnside has come from my work experience over many years in the childcare industry, starting out as an Educator, then an Assistant Director and now a Director at Goodstart Burnside.
Our Educators at Burnside are dedicated and committed to the children in their care. Our Educators continue to develop their skillset, to extend their learning, to reach their full potential at work and in life. Each day our Educators are planning, researching and implementing new activities, learning experiences and making sure the ‘fun’ element is always included – we know that children learn through play. I want to see our children grow and develop as individuals, eager to learn, ready to challenge ideas, invent and have fun.
Our Centre is inclusive of every child, every family, every culture. Learning from each other’s differences can only enrich our lives; it teaches acceptance and tolerance and promotes understanding and respect.
I am proud of our Centre, our Educators, our programs and grateful for the relationships we have developed with our children and their families.
I encourage you to take a tour through our Centre, experience our rooms filled with children playing, learning, discovering. I look forward to hearing from you soon so that I can welcome your family to ours.
