Clarissa Centre Director
Kaya my name is Clarrissa Bennett.
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, I have been in the childcare industry for 16 years plus, in that time I have worked in all positions and have worked my way up to becoming centre director.
I have a strong passion for the early years education and strive to get the best outcome for all children and families, I believe I am very friendly, approachable and display a high standard of work ethics and a professional attitude. I believe that each child is an individual and as a educator I will value and develop each child’s strengths, interest, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning.
I believe that children learn through play, I feel it allows children opportunities to explore, discover, create and imagine. I feel the environment plays a major role in the success of a early childhood program. It should enhance the children’s interest in all developmental domains. I believe that learning in an early childhood environment is done most successfully through stations that can be visited, explored and revisited again and again. The environment I feel should take in to considerations the social skills, communication skills, physical abilities or challenges and learning styles of the child being served.
I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful centre.
