About Goodstart Crestmead Julie Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Crestmead - Julie Street has a beautiful family feel, located next to Francis College on Julie Street with private parking onsite. We are also close to the bus and walking distance to local shops.
We believe our centre plays an important role in the lives of our families, children and the community. We aim to provide the highest quality care through our child-centred programs and we are committed to educating every child as an individual.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, cubbyhouses, vege patches, worm farm, garden beds, verandahs and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
The staff at the centre are very warm and friendly and go out of the way to help families with their questions and requests.
Another great thing about our centre is that our families and staff come from many nationalities, which provides many opportunities for the children to learn about other cultures. Recently we’ve also connected with a local retirement facility and this has been a wonderful opportunity for the children and older people to connect together. The children are learning important values such as respect, understanding and compassion through their interactions with the older people.
We love to keep families up-to-date on the events and activities happening with our calendar of events, community board and most importantly talking with families daily on their child’s progress. Some of the events we do each year include Shave for a Cure, crazy hair day, Day for Daniel, Pink Ribbon Day and lots of others.
We look forward to meeting you and your family soon! Come in and meet the team, take a tour and see how we can work together to give your child the best possible start in life.
