About Goodstart Dandenong Princes Highway
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Dandenong - Princes Highway is located in a residential area, just off the highway, close to schools, shops and community facilities.
Our child care centre is a large, bright and vibrant centre located close to the CBD of Dandenong. We are close to public transport, schools and East Link. Our centre has six spacious age appropriate rooms.
Our early childhood educators pride themselves on providing a stimulating, educational program – in line with the Early Years’ Learning Framework - for children of all ages.
This also includes providing a funded Kindergarten program with a fully qualified kindergarten teacher 5 days per week. We have a team of educators who speak a variety of languages from Punjabi, Tamil, Hindi, Italian, Sinhalese, Filipino, French and Hungarian.
Educational programs are based on the children's individual strengths, needs and learning skills. Educators at the centre support positive learning building strong relationships and supporting a strong self esteem.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have newly renovated yards which comprise of great equipment, and fun things to do that both support children's physical, social and intellectual development.
We have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
We constantly support and invite parent input, suggestions and feedback through all communication links. The centre values all input and feel we can build a stronger sense of community within our centre by listening to our families. We have recently opened a community room for parents and support agencies to come together and network within our environment.
We have a child and family practitioner and speech therapist working within our child care centre for children and families.
We invite you to come and visit our centre to meet our team and to see for yourself our commitment to your child’s early learning journey.
