About Goodstart Maroochydore Main Road
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Maroochydore - Main Road is located in a residential / commercial area close to community facilities, public transport and local schools and shops.
We have five colourful rooms. We cater for ages six weeks to twelve years with Before and After School Care. The centre has two buses and air conditioning throughout all rooms.
We have two separate play areas with adjoining fences to allow sibling interaction during outside play time. Our child care centre offers educational programs following the Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
The outdoor spaces were designed by our centre team to ensure they meet the needs of our children and families to create a learning environment that challenges and inspires investigation in all children.
We have recently started a journey with a program around sustainability called ‘The Small Green Steps’. This program will educate our children and families around sustainable practices and includes growing our own vegetable garden, establishing a worm farm and compost, and installing a water tank and recycling bins.
All of our rooms in the centre have fully qualified educators that each hold a blue card, current first aid and CPR and who are very caring, passionate and dedicated ensuring all children have the best possible start in life.
Each of our rooms has a vast range of equipment to help cater to each individual child’s developmental stage whilst allowing them to extend their learning further. We have dedicated a room to exploring the arts, with a range of mediums which the children can go to extend on their learning whilst enhancing their creativity and imagination.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
A major focus for our centre is working with the broader community to enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet you and your family and explore how we can support you on this early learning adventure.

Simone Werner Centre Director
Hi. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself – my name is Simone and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Maroochydore – Main Road.
My career in the Early Learning and Child Care sector started when I was 17 and just fresh out of High School in 1996. During my journey in Child Care I had the privilege of working as an Assistant Educator and throughout the years progressing to roles such as Lead Educator, Assistant Director and Director. I have worked with all age groups during my 22 years ranging from 6 weeks to 12yrs. I have a Diploma in Children’s Services and a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing.
I strongly believe in offering your loved ones a safe and nurturing environment to grow and develop self-interdependence. My promise to you is that you will always feel your loved ones are being cared for by the best possible Highest Standard Educators who will create close bonds making your child’s early learning experience more comforting. Our aim is to ensure your child feels at home and part of our Goodstart family.
I am extremely passionate about making collaborative partnerships within our wider community as I believe this is an essential part of our children learning self-awareness and confidence. I aim to provide a safe, nurturing, loving and quality care environment to our community.
Assisting your child to develop an understanding of the world and their place in it is such an important part of why I love Child Care and being able to watch your children grow and develop makes my role as an Educator so rewarding and fulfilling.
I am extremely approachable and have an open-door policy. Please do not hesitate to come and see me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting each and every one of our amazing families.
