About Goodstart Mount Warren Park Mount Warren Boulevard
Residing on Yugambeh land, Goodstart Mount Warren Park on Mount Warren Boulevard has been a part of this wonderful community for many years.
Within the community our centre is striving to make connections with our local Indigenous groups and are forever expanding our knowledge and interactions with local groups with the intention of embedding meaningful and respectful Indigenous practices within our service.
With a fully published Reconciliation Action Plan that was published by Reconciliation Australia and Narragunnawali, our team have a passion for recognising and working with our Nation’s first people.
We pride ourselves on our ability to include all families from different backgrounds and cultures into our service and educational program. We work alongside our families to ensure we do this in a meaningful and respectful way. We are building inks with our local support groups and community services to ensure we are offering the best care and advice for families to ensure we are inclusive and providing the highest of quality care for all children.
At Goodstart Mount Warren Park we provide childcare for children from 15 Months to 5 years, and we tailor our individual educational programs to our four beautiful classrooms: Toddlers, Senior Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
Our dedicators educators have a total of over 215 years of experience between bringing a wealth of valuable experience, knowledge and skills that allow the highest of quality care and understanding for al children and families.
Delivered by teachers holding their Master of Education, our Kindergarten program ensures that your children are all school ready. Your children will develop a foundation for literacy and numeracy to support their social skills and wellbeing. A fully funded Kindergarten program is all about exploration and discovery, so your child has lots of opportunities to question, problem solve and experiment across all our curriculum areas.
Key Educator practices are embedded at the centre. Key Educator relationships ensure a triangle of trust, where a named educator is attuned and responsive to a small group of children and their family’s needs. Relationships are purposeful and intentional, sufficiently consistent, in tune and responsive to children’s individuality and are mutually owned.
Our centre is one of a kind. The dynamic of this group of educators is like no other and we pride ourselves on truly being a home away from home. Our centre backs onto beautiful bushland and has brand new and newly refurbished playgrounds and we have an embedded sustainability program where we are consistently working in the gardens to grow native plants and flowers that now help to feed our Native Bees from our Australian Native Bee program.
We use an online record system called Storypark which allows us to communicate with families like never before. Learning stories, children’s observations and photograph sharing ensure that the whole family can become engaged in their child’s learning in real time.
Come down and visit our centre. You will see that our families love the friendly educators and happy and comforting atmosphere that we all create together. Our families know that support and guidance is always available from our experiences and educated staff. Our centre vision is ‘With Unity we thrive’, we live and breathe this each and every single day.
