About Goodstart Narre Warren Galloway Drive
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Narre Warren Galloway Drive is located in a residential area close to local schools, shops and community services.
We have 73 children from birth to five years at our centre each day and we welcome community involvement and enjoy liaising with our local primary schools to create a smooth transition for our kindergarten age children into school.
Our centre is inclusive of all families and children and we welcome you into our home-like environment where your child will be safe and cared for. We have a lovely big yard for our children to play in, and we encourage outdoor play as often as possible.
We enjoy families joining us throughout the day to spend time reading, playing instruments and getting involved in our learning and play. We are lucky to have a range of different cultures and nationalities within our centre which we really enjoy, as we are able to celebrate many special occasions and events.
Many of our educators have been at our centre for five years, some even longer! All are highly trained, dedicated and passionate about offering a successful learning program which enhances children’s growth and development, following the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards at all times. Our educators speak a range of different languages which is very helpful with our families and children. We have very positive relationships and strongly believe that children are central to everything we do.
Outside we have a balance of natural and manmade elements which help teach the children about their environment and the importance of sustainability, as well as sandpits, vege patch, mud kitchen, fort and lots of shade.
We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
We use email and family notices to let families know what is going on at our centre, as well as regular verbal communication. Each room at our centre has a sheet where our educators keep track of detailed information about your child’s day which you can read daily to ensure you are kept up to date.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
We have a wonderful community notice board within our centre which updates families as to what is happening within our area and what services are available to families.
Our centre vision
We like our centre to be a warm, homelike environment where children feel safe, secure and supported to learn and develop at their own pace. Where children feel comfortable and confident to explore and learn through play. An environment where Educators work in collaboration with families to create learning programs that suit each child's individual needs.
