About Goodstart Narre Warren South Sherwood Road
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Narre Warren - Sherwood Road is located in a convenient yet safe and sound pocket of suburbian, close to residential areas, shops and local schools.
Our vision is simple. We aim to provide a learning environment where all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are a purpose built child care and education facility which aims to provide these services accompanied with the help of our dedicated, trained and experienced educators.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive service with affordable, high quality, developmental and educational care to our community for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. We offer a funded kindergarten program along with a prep transition program with Strathaird primary school which is located directly across the road from our centre
Our activities, curriculum and facilities are designed arounf the Early Years' Learning Framework and aim to make children feel comfortable in their learning environment. Our centres aim to create a home-like feel with natural furnishes, colours and resources. The Kinder program includes excursion to the park next door and the centre offers a sports program to all kinder children.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces which give the children every opportunity to learn and explore while familiarising themselves with their environment and the importance of sustainability. We have completed a new yard upgrade offering children space to explore the natural constructed environment, mud kitchen, dry creek bed, and so much more.
We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. We take our nursery children out for regular walks in the community in our 2 4 seater prams. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
During the first five years, children experience rapid growth and change. Throughout their time at our centre, children feel a sense of becoming as we prepare them for the next chapter of their journey.
We invite you to come and visit our centre to meet our team and to see for yourself our commitment to your child’s early learning journey.
