We're a culturally inclusive early learning and long day care centre, purpose-built on Kaurna land.
Our team provides children with a strong foundation for lifelong learning in a safe, nurturing environment.
With four age-based learning rooms and two upgraded outdoor play areas, our centre is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence from nursery to preschool.
Our longstanding team brings more than 120 years of combined early learning experience, offering stability and care that families can rely on.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hi, my name is Amy, and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Paralowie - Byron Bay Drive. I began my early learning career with the company in 2003 after completing my Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services) and have worked in many roles during this time, with all age groups.
I’m passionate about children’s development in the early years and see children as confident, capable learners who will all learn at their own pace, in their own way. I am also confident in referring children through our early learning pathways for support, if required, as this assists with school readiness and a child's overall wellbeing.
Providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children lays the foundation for children to thrive - giving them the best possible start in life. Learning through play, children can explore their own thoughts and ideas individually or with friends.
I believe partnerships with our families play an important role in a child’s learning journey with us and the most important part of our relationships with families is open and honest communication.
I love being part of a team and live locally within the Paralowie community. I look forward to meeting you soon.
