About Goodstart Redcliffe Ashmole Road
Our early education centre is conveniently located near public transport, many local schools, the Redcliffe Hospital and shopping precincts. It is a purpose built centre which provides quality care and education to children from six weeks to five years.
We have five air conditioned classrooms, each with their own yard for explorative and physical play. Our service runs an indoor/outdoor program which allows the children to choose which environment they would like to learn in, respecting the individual childs’ learning style. Every child’s learning is supported through the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), a curriculum where by goals are set to be achieved through play, to ensure the best possible learning outcome. We also offer the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program five days per week, which is run by our qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
All of our Early Childhood Educators are qualified in line with the National Regulations and many have been teaching at our service for up to 25 years. Our relationships with our families and children are very important to us, and we strive to support the needs of our families in any way possible through frequent communication, invitations to volunteer/attend centre events and by linking with family support services in our local community.
Our Storypark platform allows our Educators to keep families up to date with each child’s learning and development progress on a personal level as well as providing families with current news and events that are occurring at our centre as they happen. We also provide families with a monthly newsletter containing useful and important information about our centre as well as information on child development in the early years and how our practices support this.
Outside we have a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces, with plenty of shade. We have beautiful gardens, veggie patches, sandpits in each yard, mud pits and a water play area.
We provide nutritious meals, prepared by a qualified cook. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are all included in the fees. Our centre menus are regularly reviewed by educators, families and children to ensure all needs are catered for and that the children have the opportunity to experience a variety of tasty foods to support their growing bodies.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities outside the centre throughout the year, we are able to enrich the learning experience for the children in our care.
Our learning programs are enhanced with multicultural experiences, authenticated by educators who hail from all over the world. This provides a unique atmosphere that teaches your child to embrace individuality and diversity.
Come in and see for yourself how we can help give your child the best start in life! We would love the chance to show you around.
