About Goodstart Traralgon Grey Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Traralgon – Grey Street has been a part of the Goodstart Early Learning family since 2005 and we are located in a residential area close to schools and community conveniences.
Our centre has four rooms with the following capacity; Nursery 12 children, Toddler 16 children, Pre-Kinder 16 and Kinder 16 per day. The centre takes a total of 60 bookings per day. Our staff have qualifications ranging from Certificate III in Children’s Services to Diploma of Childcare. We have some staff in training to further their qualifications and all staff have their First Aid Certificates and anaphylaxis training.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
There are two yards for play: one for the under threes and the other for the over three-year-old children. Siblings at the centre are able to mix during family grouping times.
We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family. Come in and take a look around, meet the team and explore how we can support your early learning journey.
