Goodstart Traralgon - Park Lane

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Traralgon - Park Lane is an 86 place child care centre located in a residential area across from shops and close to local schools.

Our centre strives to provide the best quality care and customer service for all of our families.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with large sandpits, digging patches, dry creek bed, vege patch, worm farm, compost bin, tan bark areas, swings and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
 
We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Our centre also takes pride in supporting and participating in many charity fundraisers throughout the year, to make a difference wherever and whenever possible.

Further, through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
