Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Wagga Wagga – Lake Albert Road is in a residential area close to a shopping centre, local schools, main roads and transport – all while being safe and quiet.

Our child care centre caters for 70 children and has 4 rooms; Nursery, Toddlers and Preschool. Our educators have extensive experience working with children and hold relevant qualifications including Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood, Diploma of Childcare and Certificate III in children’s services.

All our educators are dedicated to providing each child with the individual care and education they need to learn and develop and are committed to supporting families to provide the children with the best start in life.

Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

We have a spacious playground with a range of shady trees and gardens for the children to enjoy. A quiet place to sit and reflect, areas that invite active play. It promotes competence, independent exploration and learning through play environments. Our vegetable patch has produced carrots and tomatoes that the children enjoy harvesting and these are given to the cook to prepare the childrens lunch.

Forming partnerships with our families and the broader community is imperative and we work hard to establish a sense of belonging and community within our centre. These partnerships with families are important to ensure that our program is engaging and inclusive. There is a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere when you arrive at our centre and users of the centre feel a sense of belonging.

Educators engage in an ongoing process of observing, analysing, planning and reflection to foster each child’s learning and development. The children are encouraged to develop a love of learning from the experiences and partnerships that they form whilst in our care.
