About Goodstart Wangaratta Moore Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Wangaratta - Moore Street is a 58 place child care centre located in a convenient position within walking distance to the main CBD, Hospital and TAFE.
Our educators provide quality programs that fully incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework. Through our programs, we provide age appropriate experiences that are challenging and fun. We encourage all our children to extend on their interests and strengths. Our educators strive to create a nurturing, stimulating environment in which children are able to gain the skills and confidence to embark on their journey of self-discovery.
Our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
Here at Goodstart Early Learning Wangaratta - Moore Street we source community opportunities for all ages to participate in our incursion and excursion programs. We offer many incursions such as visits from the police, fire brigade and ambulance service, as well as working alongside many more external support agencies. We make sure all our rooms have the chance to experience excursions in the community whether it’s simply taking the nursery room for a walk in our prams to our older children going to play gym or our Bush Kinder program. We encourage many visitors to our child care centre which enables the children to broaden their knowledge of our local community.
All educators work hard to build rapport with the families at our centre. We feel privileged to share in the lives of the families and children who attend Goodstart Wangaratta Moore Street, and ensure every moment is memorable.
We look forward to meeting you and your family and exploring how we can support you and your child through the early learning journey.

Sharnie Ringrow Centre Director
Hello. my name is Sharnie and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Wangaratta - Moore Street.
I have strong passion for early childhood education. I have had various roles in Early Learning, includind leadership positions such as; Lead Educator, Educational Leader and Director.
I also studied Nursing, Although never pursuing a nursing career as I could not find myself being able to stray from my passion of working with children.
I am passionate about early childhood education. I understand that your children are your most important and precious gift. Therefore, it is equally important that I build a personal connection with you so that you trust me to lead your service.
I was born and raised in the Mooroopna/Shepparton area, where I graduated high school before embarking on my journey in early childhood education starting off as a 17 year old trainee.
I now reside in Yarrawonga with my family.
Some fun facts about me:
◾ I have five pets; a dog, turtle, blue tongue lizard, bearded dragon, and a green tree frog (I bring the reptiles into the centre for children to meet)
◾ My hobbies include; being outdoors, playing netball and taking my boys motorbike riding
A poem that resonates with my personal philosophy
I gave you a little wink and smile as you entered the service today, I know how hard it is to leave, and know your child must stay,
You have been with your child for sometime now and have been their loving guide, But now the time has come for you to leave them by our side.
Just know that as you drive away and tears down your cheek may flow, We will love them as we would our own, and help them learn and grow.
For as a parent I too know how quickly the years go by and I know how hard it is to drop off and say goodbye.
So enjoy your day, take a deep breath and cry those tears no more, For we will love them and care for them when you leave them at our door
