About Goodstart Wangaratta Williams Road
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Wangaratta - Williams Road is a 95 place centre located in a residential area close to schools, shops and community services.
Our centre is located in a built up area consisting of older homes and a new estate. We are an architecturally designed building with an impressive entrance and lobby area. We offer leather chairs and a coffee table in our foyer where parents can gather if they would like to have a chat.
The staff at our centre strive to create a nurturing, stimulating environment in which children are able to gain the skills and confidence to embark on their journey of self-discovery.
Our rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
We offer many incursions such as visits from the police, fire brigade and ambulance service and local elderly members of the community. Our Kinder room has at least three excursions during the year: to the local library, the local primary school and to the traffic school. We encourage many visitors to our centre which enables the children to broaden their knowledge of our local community.
We look forward to meeting you and your family soon! Come in and meet the team, take a tour and see how we can work together to give your child the best possible start in life.
