Goodstart Welshpool

Goodstart Early Learning Welshpool is a warm and friendly service located in a convenient location, close to school, shops, residential areas and transport routes.

With a team of educators that have been with the service between 2-16 years, we provide stability and harmony. We are a diverse and multicultural centre that believes in teaching acceptance and tolerance to our children.

A focus of our centre is working with the broader community to help us enrich the children’s learning experiences. We also work very closely with families to encourage participation and partnerships to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching children about being a contributing and active member of society.

We offer 6 rooms, ranging from six weeks to five years. Our play based, stimulating curriculum, based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the Goodstart Practice Guide provides opportunities for children to learn through fun activities and experiences. Our engaging programs account for each child’s individual interests, strengths and needs. The Kindergarten Program based on the Kindergarten Guidelines ensure the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

Our intuitive Storypark platform enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families and share your child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Welshpool and what happens at home. This means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey and ensure parents are always informed of their child’s developments, milestones and achievements.

Our outdoor environment has age-appropriate play spaces and equipment to enhance the children’s awareness of their surroundings. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
