My name is Brianna Milani, and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Innisfail. I began my studies in Early Childhood whilst I was completing my senior years here in Innisfail at Good Counsel College.

After graduating I was then offered a full-time position at a local centre before I made the move further north to Cairns. It is there where I truly found my passion and drive for the Early Years Sector.

I was extremely lucky to have incredibly supportive and nurturing mentors around me who encouraged me to further my knowledge and expertise in the industry.

I have been working in Early Childhood for 10 years, with the opportunity work across all job roles within the industry. I have a beautiful two-year-old daughter who inspires me daily to ensure that our service provides quality care to all families and allows me to experience the centre through the eyes of a parent and not just an employee.

My Philosophy

My philosophy has adapted and evolved over the years, but these three key aspects are what I have always revolved my way of teaching and mentoring around and they are; viewing children as capable, competent and confident learners.

It is our job as educators to ensure that children are given the opportunity to express their individual interests while we nurture and foster this through our intentional environments.

The ability to ensure all children feel safe, secure and comforted within our care is an imperative factor to provide quality care.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
