Goodstart Mount Isa

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Mount Isa is located only minutes from the CBD and Hospital. 

Our recently upgraded outdoor environment has shaded playgrounds, designated bike track, water play area, vegetable garden pods, beautifully landscaped gardens, sand pit, climbing area and a fresh coat of paint. Our indoor environment also received a new coat of paint, and all rooms are air conditioned and fully resourced.

The centre provides care and learning for children in Nursery, Toddler, Senior Toddler, Pre-Kindy, and Kindergarten. We provide a play-based curriculum that is based on the individual needs of the children. 

The Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards guide and support the educators at Goodstart Mount Isa to implement learning opportunities that will ensure all children can grow and develop at their own pace and have the best possible start in their life-long journey of learning. 

We offer a funded and approved kindergarten program and use the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines as the curriculum to support children’s learning and development in the year before school. 

Storypark is an online platform that we use to share with families their child’s learning and development journey. This platform also provides a means of private communication between individual families and educators ensuring the most up to date information is being shared about the children.

Our centre encourages cultural diversity and has close ties within the community. We endeavour to build strong relationships between the home and centre while respecting the culture and values of our families.
