Our cosy centre has five cool classrooms, each with its own yard for fun play. We have experienced teachers (some with up to 25 years!) and a big heart that loves family support and community connections.
Our early education centre is conveniently located near public transport, many local schools, the Redcliffe Hospital and shopping precincts. It is a purpose-built centre which provides quality care and education to children from six weeks to five years.
We have five air conditioned classrooms, each with their own yard for explorative and physical play. Every child’s learning is supported through the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), a curriculum where by goals are set to be achieved through play, to ensure the best possible learning outcome. We also offer the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program four days per week, which is run by our qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
All of our Early Childhood Educators are qualified in line with the National Regulations and many have been teaching at our service for up to 25 years. Our relationships with our families and children are very important to us, and we strive to support the needs of our families in any way possible through frequent communication, invitations to volunteer/attend centre events and by linking with family support services in our local community.
Our Storypark platform allows our Educators to keep families up to date with each child’s learning and development progress on a personal level as well as providing families with current news and events that are occurring at our centre as they happen. We also provide families with information regarding important information about our centre as well as information on child development in the early years and how our practices support this.
Outside we have a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces, with plenty of shade. We have beautiful gardens, sandpits in each yard, mud pits and water play areas.
We provide nutritious meals, prepared by a qualified cook. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are all included in the fees. Our centre menus are regularly reviewed by educators, families and children to ensure all needs are catered for and that the children have the opportunity to experience a variety of tasty foods to support their growing bodies.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one key educator who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. We keep families informed with regular updates on their child's progress and we welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

I started with Goodstart in 2007, when it was known as ABC. After my high school work experience in an early childhood centre, I knew I wanted to work in the Early Childhood profession. As a mother of 3 young children, I know the importance of quality early learning for children and the impact this can have on children’s future learning.
I love Goodstart’s Vision of ensuring children have the best start in life as I strongly believe that quality early childhood education sets children up for future success at school and as a member of their community.
At Goodstart Redcliffe - Ashmole Road we support all children and their families, no matter their individual needs. We pride ourselves on the provision of an inclusive learning environment for all children. We are proud to have various community connections, that can help support our children and families thrive within their own community.
