Located on Menang Noongar land, Goodstart Albany offers a welcoming and connected early learning environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to explore. Positioned on the corner of Lion Street and Pioneer Road, our centre is just minutes from local schools, shops and community services. With a long-standing team and strong relationships at the heart of what we do, children are supported to build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. Each day, children are encouraged to follow their interests through play-based learning guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Hi, I'm Hayley, the Centre Director at Goodstart Albany. I bring over 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, including 11 years with Goodstart Albany. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and high-quality environment where children, families, and educators feel supported and valued.
As an Albany local, community connections are at the heart of my philosophy. I believe in embracing the unique Albany perspective within our centre and creating meaningful opportunities for children to connect with their local environment and community.
I strongly believe that every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard. Creating a sense of belonging is incredibly important to me, and I strive to ensure that each child’s individuality is recognised and celebrated every day.
I am also a mum of three children, all of whom have attended Goodstart Albany. This gives me both a professional and personal understanding of what families are looking for in early education and care, and it drives my commitment to providing the highest quality experience for every child and family who walks through our doors.
