We are relocating mid 2026! *

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for local children and families, our Goodstart Albury – Banff Ave centre will be relocating to a brand-new centre in mid-2026*, with the same great team and our currently enrolled families.

Families will be supported in transitioning to the new centre located on Mate Street, where they’ll be welcomed by familiar educators and friendly faces, with continued opportunities for children to learn, grow, and build new connections.

Our team is working closely with each family to ensure the transition is smooth and well supported, so we can all enjoy the new facilities at the new centre.

Hi, I’m Melinda, Centre Director at Goodstart Banff Ave.

I hold a diploma qualification with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, spanning birth to 12 years, inclusion support, and centre management, I’m deeply committed to understanding how children grow, learn, and thrive.

For me, leadership is about cultivating a culture of care, compassion, curiosity, and connection. I’m passionate about creating a centre where every child, family, and educator feels genuinely valued, supported, and inspired.

My practice is grounded in:
-Holistic development: Nurturing each child’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth.
-Team empowerment: Building a motivated, collaborative team that feels confident and capable.
-Family partnerships: Strengthening trust and continuity between home and centre.

Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
