Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Centre Director
Hello, my name is Kristy and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Beresfield.
I’ve been working in the early childhood education industry for over 20 years. I was born in the Northern Territory and have had the wonderful opportunity to travel and work across Australia, thanks to my husband’s career in the Defence Force. These experiences have allowed me to connect with many different communities and gain a broad understanding of how to support children and families in diverse settings.
I completed my Diploma in Children’s Services at TAFE in 2006, and since then, my passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive has only continued to strengthen. I’m also a proud mum to two beautiful children and two much-loved dogs.
As Interim Centre Director, I’m deeply committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. I believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, and I feel privileged to play a part in each child’s journey.
