Goodstart Early Learning Glenfield Park can be found in a quiet cul-de-sac, near a doctor’s surgery, a shopping complex and community hall.
Our program caters for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years, welcoming a diverse range of families, respecting all backgrounds and cultures.
We have a unique outlook and perspective of working families, therefore at our centre you have the convenience of longer hours. Children can be dropped off at any time during the centre's opening hours. We are open 52 weeks a year and close only on the public holidays.
In 2019 Goodstart Glenfield Park received an Exceeding Rating in line with the National Quality Standard, recognising the exceptional work that we do at our Centre.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced team of long-standing educators, most of whom have been with the centre since opening our doors in 2003. Our Key Educator approach creates close bonds between families, educators, and children, which is extremely important during the early years of development. Our aim is to support families to raise their children to be confident, competent learners who embrace social interaction every day.
Mealtimes are our favourite part of the day, as our Centre Cook prepares healthy and nutritious meals daily onsite, which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, catering for all dietary needs.
Inside area, all the rooms - from Nursery to Preschool - are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Our engaging environment ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop positive interactions that model friendships and respectful social interactions with others.
Outside area, we have four areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have two main outdoor play areas with sandpits, vegetable garden, a stage, slides, dry creek bed, mud kitchen and swings offering plenty of shade.
Our sustainable practices are embedded in our day to day routines, this is evident throughout the whole service including the communication systems that we have in place. Our Storypark online platform, as well as regular family nights, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths. Families are regularly invited to give feedback on our program and centre events.
Community is important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year, we can enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided daily which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your family, by booking a centre tour, so that we can learn a little about how we can best support you on the journey of lifelong learning.
