We would like to respectfully acknowledge the Dharug People as the traditional custodians of the land, the Elders past, present.
At Goodstart Hassall Grove we acknowledge that the first five years of a child’s life is critical in their learning and development as this sets the foundations for learning across a lifetime as children are central to everything we do. Through this we aim to provide a rich play-based curriculum that supports the interests and developmental needs of each of the children.
We promote children’s health and safety by advocating and working with children in intentional experiences allowing them opportunities to become resilient, confident and develop their sense of agency. Our centre menu reflects on promoting diversity, the Australian Dietary guidelines and the national quality standards whilst also incorporating all children’s dietary requirements.
We use critical reflection and the physical environment as a third teacher to support the needs of each child as well as implement their interests and voices within our routine and rituals. Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces.
Our service provides care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years and we have over 86 families using the centre. Our families come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and we embed culture into all aspects of the curriculum. At Goodstart Hassall Grove individuality is celebrated!
We are proud to share that our Exceeding ACECQA rating is reflective of all seven rated areas.
Come in and say hello!
