Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Tumbi Umbi is in leafy pocket of suburbia, close to local services, making the daily drop-off and pick-up stress free. We are safe and convenient and cater to children in rooms from Nursery to Preschool.

Our centre vision is “Creating Opportunities”. We want children to discover their world with curiosity, confidence and imagination and build positive relationships with everyone they encounter.

We have a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about the role they play in the children's lives and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our programs, which are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, encourage the children to reach their full potential by ensuring their individual needs and interests are factored into their learning.

Our rooms are stimulating and based around fun and experience-based learning. Outside, we have big shaded yards with a vegetable patch and natural gardens, unique timber hand crafted resources and a variety of sensory areas.

We strive to build strong relationships with our 186-plus families and encourage parent feedback and participation. We enjoy coming together with our families and our local communities for special occasions and aim to hold a different event each month to encourage the local community and our centre to come together to empower the lives of the children and the families in which we collaborate with.

My Name is Carlie I am one of the Job share center directors at Goodstart Tumbi Umbi.

I have worked in early childhood education for 15 years and my passion is building strong foundations for children to see them reach their greatest potential. I believe in establishing strong bonds between our education and care service and our families and our local community to give children a sense of belonging to something bigger than just our service. I believe in providing children with opportunities to explore both natural and built environments and enabling them the opportunity to seek risky play to develop an understanding of their own opportunities and limitations.

My name is Candice I am one of the Job Share centre directors at Goodstart Tumbi Umbi.

I am a mother of 4 active busy children who I love spending time outdoors with. I have a Diploma in children’s services and have worked in the early learning sector for 16 years which have been at Goodstart Tumbi. I am passionate about creating a safe, comfortable and secure space for children to learn and fulfil their potential.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
