Our early learning environment caters for children aged from 15months and up.
We’re very proud of our experienced educators, who have an extensive experience in the early learning sector. These educators are also highly qualified, all of them holding or working towards their Diploma in Children’s Services. We also have three qualified Early Childhood Teacher’s, two running our kindergarten program, and one running our Junior Toddlers environment. We also have an educator currently studying her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. Our team are fully first aid trained to ensure we are up to date with current guidelines and ready to assist in all aspects of the safety of all in our service. Our team have undergone extensive professional development in trauma informed education and care theory and practices, to ensure we are fully supporting children to regulate their emotional experiences using their emotional connection with us their educators.
Our educators and teachers are long standing team members within our service, ranging from four years to 15 years within the service. All supporting the stability, consistency, expertise, strong relationships, calming and positive environment that we are very proud of being a part of.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Toddlers to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas have recently undergone a full renovation, and are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam. Our centre is a homely cottage-style centre with wide verandas and four large outdoor areas for the children to explore.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in community events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family. Come in and take a look around, meet the team and explore how we can support your early learning journey.
