Goodstart Jones Hill
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Jones Hill is set in a rural area and is five minutes from the heart of Gympie.
Our child care centre has five large rooms catering from the ages of six weeks to 5 years.

Our educators are friendly and caring, and each educator holds a Blue Card and First Aid qualifications. The educators at Goodstart Jones Hill are fully qualified and are continually studying to further their qualifications.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

The child care centre has three play areas, one for the nursery and toddlers, the main area for mixed age groups and the third area for Kindergarten children. Goodstart Jones Hill is fully equipped with a wide range of toys and equipment for the development of the children's learning through gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, language and social and emotional.
The centre provides morning and afternoon tea, is air conditioned throughout and provides educational programs based on each individual child. We also provide lunch and nappies for children.
Our goal is to create a warm, friendly, caring and safe environment for all our families which will provide a stimulating and educational program for the children's learning and development.

Hello! My name is Suzanne and I am the Centre Director for Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Jones Hill.
I started in the childcare industry in 1995 as an assistant and have worked in all positions leading up to being the Centre Director.
I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Jones since 2004 and gained my Advanced Diploma during this time. I have a total of 28.5 years’ experience in the industry and have worked at Goodstart Jones Hill for 28 years.
I enjoy the daily contact with parents and children and find the role very rewarding. For me it is all about the highest quality care and early education. We ensure children are in a safe and nurturing environment so they have every opportunity to meet their potential.
I am surrounded by a team of child care professionals who enjoy helping in the development of all the children who attend our centre.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family to our centre, and discussing how we can support you and your child on the pathway to lifelong learning.
