Goodstart Gympie is a four room centre, situated a few minutes from the heart of town. We are in close proximity to local primary and high schools, local bus route, IGA and Coles Shopping Centre and the main street of Gympie.

Goodstart Gympie provides quality care to children from 9 months to five years of age.

This purpose-built centre includes spacious classrooms and 2 separate playgrounds with natural spaces, boasting full air conditioning throughout our centre. The centre provides nutritional morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea prepared by our on-site cook and we cater for dietary requirements and allergies.

Each of our wonderful classrooms provide a stimulating play-based curriculum which is developmentally in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

We recognise the environment as a third teacher and therefore our indoor and outdoor learning spaces cater to the needs and abilities of the children, while also sparking their individual creativity. We utilise natural materials and open-ended resources to ensure your child can be the driver of their own learning.

Hi! My name is Clare, and I have been the Centre Director of Goodstart Gympie since March 2018.

My career in the Early Childhood sector started over 18 years ago where I completed my Certificate 3 at one of our local Goodstart centres. In 2010, I started at Goodstart and have worked in a variety of roles over my time before stepping into the position of Centre Director while finishing my Diploma of Early Childhood.

I believe that every child deserves the best start in life we can possibly give them, regardless of background, through genuine nurturing and care while providing a quality education through rich, safe and positive learning environments with a team of professional, dedicated Educators who genuinely value being such an important part of each child’s learning while building those essential relationships with families.

When not at the centre, you will find me with my family and my twin girls who love drawing and being outside.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
