About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Kedron is a centre with lots of character. Our friendly staff are warm, nurturing and highly gifted at educating and meeting the needs of all children in their care. We are an old church building that has been converted into a childcare centre. We have five rooms: Nursery, Toddlers (15months - 2 years), Toddler 2 (15 months - 3 years), and Kindergarten. We have an on site centre cook who provides a healthy and nutritional morning tea and afternoon tea in all rooms. We provide nappies in our Nursery and Toddler rooms.

We are located next to the Kedron State School and have a good relationship with the school. We have highly gifted and talented educators in all of our rooms, who are all providing a hands on, child initiated programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework and Emergent Curriculum. This is being implemented to a high degree of success.

Out staff are passionate and dedicated childcare workers. They enjoy their jobs and their interactions with the children immensely. The staff cook with the children and we have lots of fun on dress up days.

At Goodstart Early Learning Kedron, we believe that early education that is interest based, fulfilling and developmentally appropriate and challenging at the same time, gives children the foundations for more success in later life.

Hello my name is Priya Boska and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Kedron.

It is great joy and satisfaction to work in the childcare industry. I have joined the industry in 2010 working my through various roles within the industry commencing as a Centre Director at Goodstart Kedron in 2024.

My vision and values for early childhood education is centred around a creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel valued and respected. I believe every child is unique in their own ways of learning.

As an enthusiastic and dedicated Childcare Director, I am driven by a deep passion for working with children and families. My journey in childcare has been guided by a commitment to creating nurturing environments where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. With a focus on building strong relationships and fostering a love for learning, I believe in the importance of providing a supportive community that values each child's unique strengths and abilities. I am excited to continue my mission of making a positive impact on young lives and supporting families in their journey of growth and development.

As a dedicated mother of two teenagers, I bring a wealth of personal experience and understanding to my work. My journey as a parent has equipped me with invaluable insights into the developmental needs of children and the challenges faced by families. I approach childcare responsibilities with warmth, empathy, and a genuine desire to create a safe and stimulating environment for every child in my care. I exemplify dedication, patience, and a deep commitment to supporting children's growth and well-being.
