Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Nambour - City View Terrace is located in a residential area close to schools, shops, transport and the hospital.
We have five rooms that cater for ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Our centre has air conditioning throughout all rooms and we received a rating of Meeting from the Department of Education for Assessment and Rating.
Each of the five rooms in the centre have fully qualified educators who each hold a blue card, current first aid and CPR. Our rooms have a vast range of equipment to help cater to each individual child’s developmental stages.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
The outdoor spaces - with sandpits, swings, a boat, vegie patch, water tanks, worm farms, compost bins, undercover areas, and mud kitchen - were designed by our centre team in consultation with our children, families and community members. Every element is to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
We have an onsite Bush Kinder which is fully licensed and accessible to the entire centre. All rooms have an opportunity to use the Bush Kinder as part of their daily programs. Bush Kinder allows children to explore the natural environments and is an excellent way to teach children about risk taking and sustainability and the environment.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We warmly welcome new families, so please stop by! We would love to explore how we can support you and your child on their pathway to lifelong learning.
