Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.
At our WIshart centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

I'm excited to introduce myself as the new Centre Director at Goodstart Wishart.
With over 16 years of experience in the early childhood education sector, including the past 8 years as a Centre Director, I'm truly passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality learning environments for children, families, and educators.
I hold both a Diploma and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, and I'm dedicated to ongoing professional development to ensure I'm always growing as an educator and a leader. I also hold a current Blue Card, along with First Aid and CPR certifications, to ensure your children's safety and wellbeing are always a priority.
My teaching philosophy is inspired by Lev Vygotsky’s theory, which emphasises the power of social interaction, language, and guided support. I use strategies like scaffolding and working within each child's Zone of Proximal Development to help them build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Above all, child safety is at the core of everything I do. I aim to foster a space where children feel secure, respected, and free to explore their world with curiosity and joy.
I'm a friendly, approachable person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others - whether it's through a quick chat at drop-off or a deeper conversation about your child's learning journey. Please don’t hesitate to pop in to take a tour!
