Goodstart Parafield Gardens

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Parafield Gardens is tucked in a convenient part of Parafield only 20 minutes from the centre of Adelaide.

Our 70-place centre provides care for three age groups – Nursery, Toddlers and Preschool. We work with our families and partner with organisations throughout our community to develop a curriculum which is based around play, experience and routine, all in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.

We have a major focus on inclusion and supporting every child with a transdisciplinary approach. Our educators enhance the curriculum and ensure that the most appropriate care and education techniques are applied for each child to promote development and growth.  We encourage children to have fun and build friendships in a safe, secure and well-supervised learning environment. We outreach to our Goodstart Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Child, and Family Practitioner and Social Inclusion Consultant internally and advocate and support external referral pathways and supports for children according to need and vulnerability. These close links enable us to provide a socially inclusive environment for all families.

Each of our three rooms are set up to promote stimulating, fun learning and outside we have wooden cubbies, garden beds, rainwater tanks, worm farms and all natural surrounds to help in teaching children about the natural environment and sustainability.

At Goodstart Early Learning Parafield Gardens, our educators are qualified with vast experience in early learning. They are warm, friendly, helpful, nurturing and very approachable. We have our own Reconciliation Action Plan in practice which is supported by Narragunnawali Reconciliation in Schools and Early Learning.
