Located conveniently on Princes Highway in Dandenong, our centre offers high-quality long day care and kindergarten programs designed to support every child’s unique learning journey.

Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and encourages hands-on learning through play, interaction and discovery. Children are supported to build skills that will help them transition confidently into primary school and future learning.
Whether your child is an infant, toddler or preparing for school, we create opportunities for them to learn at their own pace, in a way that feels natural and fun.
Our vision is to ensure that all families and children are supported and feel safe, secure and supported whilst at the service. The team all understand the importance of finding that perfect place for your little one, one that inspires, is respectful, inclusive, fun and supportive.
Our Key educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our outdoor learning spaces have great equipment, and fun things to do that both support children's physical, social and intellectual development.
We have a wonderful cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are halal, healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods and specific dietary requirements.
Yes we offer a state approved funded kindergarten program.

I’ve been a part of the Goodstart community since 2022, starting as an Early Childhood Teacher, and I became Centre Director in 2024. I take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Dandenong - Princes Highway.
With over 15 years of experience in the Early Childhood industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of services, both private and not-for-profit, in Australia and New Zealand.
