Goodstart Shepparton - Archer Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Shepparton – Archer Street is located in a residential area close to schools, shops and community facilities.
We provide a wonderful, warm, inviting environment for your family with five rooms that cater for children in each age group. We choose staff for these rooms based on their education, personal attributes and life experiences to ensure each child is in the best possible hands.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, fort, garden beds, a bike track and plenty of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.

Welcome to Goodstart Shepparton Archer Street! My name is Anne Seckold, and I have the honour of leading our multi-cultural and diverse community here at Goodstart Shepparton Archer Street, on the land of the Yorta Yorta people.
My background
With almost 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I'm deeply passionate about creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique potential.
I began my journey as a family daycare educator in 2008, which ignited my passion for supporting children’s early learning and development. Since then, I have worked across long day care and kindergarten settings, completing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and advancing into leadership roles, including Room Leader and Centre Director. I am currently furthering my knowledge through a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching), which strengthens my commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred education.
My early childhood philosophy
I believe that children, families, and staff should be nurtured, heard, and welcomed into a safe and happy environment. For me, it’s about creating a centre where everyone feels included, culturally safe, and valued. I am also committed to celebrating and acknowledging Yorta Yorta culture, ensuring children and families learn to respect and appreciate the rich traditions and history of the land we are on.

Goodstart Shepparton Archer Street is special because it radiates warmth, positivity, and a genuine sense of community. Families are encouraged to share their cultural celebrations, and every day I am inspired by the laughter, creativity, and learning that happens within our walls. I love that we can explore and celebrate Yorta Yorta culture together as a community, helping children develop a strong sense of belonging and respect for diversity.
