About our centre

At Goodstart Wantirna South Wallace Road we offer a warm, nurturing and homely environment.

Every educator at the service truly believes in Goodstart’s Vision and purpose:

Our purpose is to ensure children have the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life.”

Our Qualified team of educators are trained to provide quality programs and play based learning environments that are rich in literacy.

Through Key educator relationship practices our teams strive to build strong and positive relationships with both children and families and really make the effort to get to know each and every one of our families and embed their cultural beliefs and values into our programs.

We have 2 Qualified Kindergarten teachers at the service along with and Educational leader that overseas our programs and documentation and coach’s educators on a regular basis to ensure they are up to date with current practices and information.

Our centre has 5 spacious rooms with adjoining yards. Our outdoor yards promote both physical play as well as quality learning areas that include book spaces and arts and craft areas.

We have a qualified cook onsite that prepares all meals fresh on a daily basis. We provide a healthy and nutritious menu that offers variety and also caters for children with allergy and dietary requirements.

Centre Director

Hi, my name is Karen and I have been working in the Early childhood industry for 28 years, 18 of which have been with Goodstart Early Learning.

I have been a Centre Director at Goodstart Wantirna South for almost 5 years and enjoy leading this wonderful team of educators.

I strive to continually improve the service and provide high quality care for all children.

I enjoy building strong relationships with both families and children along with watching relationships grow between the families, children and my team.
