Goodstart takes out international award
Goodstart Early Learning has been recognised in the third annual Australian – Sino Childcare Education and Management Association’s Awards of Excellence.
At the awards, which recognise outstanding contributions from member institutions in professional and technical education and training, Goodstart won the Outstanding Achievement in Connecting Early Childhood Education Communities category.
Goodstart WA state manager Todd Dawson, (pictured above left) who attended the event, said he was proud to share news of the great achievement.
“It reflects the value of the positive impact we are having in our work in the wider ECEC community,” Mr Dawson said.
“I believe this award is a testament to the great work of our educators and centre leaders. It is awesome that we are being recognized and appreciated for the work we do and the contribution we are making that has far reaching implications for children, families and communities not just in Goodstart centres, not just in WA or nationally but also internationally,” he said.
“Now that is living our guiding principles in action and a great example of ‘Together there’s no limit’ to what we can achieve.”
Other winners at the awards included Child Australia’s CEO Tina Holtom, who won the Innovation and Leadership award and Curtin University’s Dr Karen Murcia.
